2026 RYS 300 Application
Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
A fascia-informed, philosophy-rooted pathway for experienced practitioners and teachers.
This Yoga Alliance-accredited 300-Hour Advanced Training is designed for practitioners who wish to continue their yoga education with greater depth, nuance, and embodiment.
Rooted in the methodology of Spiral Bound: Integrated Anatomy for Yoga, the programme explores fascia-informed anatomy, spiral motion, breath-led sequencing, philosophy, and embodied teaching practice through a flexible, learner-centred curriculum.
This course has been designed primarily for teachers who have previously completed a 200-hour training with any school or lineage. Â Our focus is on the integration of new learning with lived experience and evolving personal practice.
The training combines online study with optional in-person immersion weekends in the Tweed Valley, creating space for both flexibility and meaningful community connection.
This course comprises three component Modules:
- Five Filaments Specialist (Qualify as a 5FS after one-third course completion)Â
- Five Filaments Repertoire (Lifetime Access to the 5F Repertoire resource)Â
- Spirality of Sound, Chanting, Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics (Yoga Alliance Core Competencies)Â
Plus continuous group Mentorship with Karen online.
The 2026 in-person dates for the 300-Hour Advanced training are:
- Sept 26/27
- Oct 10/11
- Nov 7/8
The synchronous online course meetings take place at 18:15 - 19:45 on the first Wednesday of each month for 18 months.
 What you'll get:
- Immediate access to online resources
- Deep dive into fascia-focused anatomy and spiral motion of Krama (movement sequences harmonising with breath)
- Structured group mentorship (bimonthly Mondays, live and recording available)
- Accredited Yoga Alliance CPD building up to a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate.
Please complete the application form below. It is free to submit. Karen will review your application and get back to you with enrolment instructions to progress your course registration.
Â
Does the Certificate differ between the Online-Only and In-Person versions of this course?
Yes. Our ONLINE-ONLY trainees will receive the standard KKYS 300-Hour Advanced Spiral Vinyasa Teacher Certificate with an additional Five Filaments Specialist badge after completing Module One. IN-PERSON trainees will receive the distinction of Hands-On qualified on their RYS 300 Certificate in addition to everything awarded after the ONLINE-ONLY version of the training.
In short, only trainees who have completed the Hands-On weekends with me will get the Hands-On distinction.

I signed up for Karenâs advanced training at a time when I was looking for something to reignite my passion for teaching and to deepen my knowledge of yoga. The training delivered what I was looking for and more. We explored some of the lesser known aspects of yoga ( in the western world) such as mantra and pranayama. Karen is so knowledgeable and she delivers her training in a way that is very engaging and hands on. I whole heartedly recommend this training to anyone looking to advance their teaching and personal yoga practice.
