The only movement training dedicated to spiral anatomy and rotational biomechanics.
Pour les francophones, la formation est enseignée par Célina Hwang et traduite en français - suivre ce lien. This training is fully online with live course meetings supported with self-paced anatomy and embryology course materials.
What you'll get:
- The 5 FILAMENTS Repertoire (150 "spiral snacks" organized by Filament)

Aimee Alexandra Schmidt, Cranio-Sacral Therapist, Pilates Practitioner & YTT grad
Karen is a phenomenal anatomy and yoga teacher. Her in-depth understanding of anatomical structures and her passion for the innate intelligence of the human body makes her a constant source of inspiration in my anatomy studies. Her work is particularly suited for anyone interested in putting the nuances of anatomy into motion thus enabling them to weave her teachings into their practice. Highly recommended!

Yoga, Pilates, dance, personal trainers and movement educators around the world are finding that what unites our work is rotational motion, fascial continuity, and nature-connectedness.
Enrol NowAN HEURISTIC PRACTICE, AN EMBRACED KNOWLEDGE
In this training, you will integrate a unique approach based on spiral anatomy, the 5 Filaments (5F), to enrich your current skills.
Where meridian systems and myofascial continuities help us to describe the three-dimensional form, 5F opens up a heuristic practice, a discovery through experience, which addresses the spiraling movement springing from this form.
The work integrates the neuro-motor patterns of development—homologous, ipsilateral, and contralateral—in a neuro-balancing progression centered on the fascia, playful and inventive. The sequences are gentle and stimulating, adapted to the prenatal and postnatal phases, and welcoming to a wide diversity of bodies and experiences.
Together, we are concretely exploring the new tissue paradigm as a playground for spiral movement, transposable to any modality: Pilates, yoga, fitness and beyond.

The Evidence-based Approach to Spiral Motion
The human body has evolved through spiral motion. From the way our tissues form in the embryo to the way we walk, reach, and turn, rotation is woven through every expression. The Five Filaments approach brings this understanding into practice, grounded in current research on fascia and movement science.
Enrol NowNOT ALIGNMENT. UNFOLDING.
The spiral runs through life.
It inhabits collagen, traces the trajectory of limbs, and organizes the fascial matrix from the cell to the entire movement. For a long time, we taught the body as an architecture of straight lines and levers. Fascia tells a different story: that of a living continuity, both taut and compressed, which may be measured in lines but always unfurls in curvature.
5 FILAMENTS is a grammar of spiral movement. It teaches you to read, instruct, and transmit this rotational logic that naturally emerges from the human form. A new way to understand the body, applicable to all practices: Pilates, yoga, fitness, movement therapies.
